Sept 29 DESTRUCTION Card

New Japan have revealed the first five matches for their next major event, Destruction, which is set to take place on September 29th at Kobe World Hall.
As with Kazuchika Okada last year, because Tetsuya Naito has chosen to wait until the Tokyo Dome show to take the title match he earned by winning the G1, he has to defend that title shot along the way.


These are the already announced matches for September 29th.

IWGP Heavyweight Championship

Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Satoshi Kojima

IWGP Intercontinental Championship 

Shinsuke Nakamura (c) vs. Shelton X Benjamin

NEVER Openweight Championship AND IWGP Heavyweight title match at the Tokyo Dome

Masato Tanaka (c) vs Tetsuya Naito (G1 Climax winner)

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Prince Devitt

Toru Yano vs. Minoru Suzuki

Katsuyori Shibata & Kazushi Sakuraba are also scheduled to be involved.
