Jay Briscoe has been added to the ROH World Title match at Final Battle after winning his match against Kevin Steen this past Saturday night. At Saturdays event Nigel McGuinness announced that the winner of the main event (Steen/Briscoe) would be inserted into the match with Adam Cole and Michael Elgin on December 14 at Final Battle. Briscoe duly won and the Final Battle Main event is now a triple threat match for the ROH World Title.
Also added to the card, Matt Taven will defend his ROH World Television Championship against "The Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa. At The Golden Dream this past Saturday (the same event as above) Ciampa became the #1 contender by defeating Jay Lethal and Mark Briscoe in a triple threat match. Matt Taven sat at ringside on commentary and watched Ciampa become his Final Battle opponent.-In other news, Coles next title defense will be on November the 15th against Jimmy Jacobs in Jacobs home town.
