On this Day in Pro Wrestling History

1981 - Pedro Morales defeats Magnificent Muraco for the WWF Intercontinental Title at Madison Square Garden in New York City to become the first two-time Intercontinental Champion ever.

1996 - Steven Dunn & Flash Flanagan defeat The Grim Twins (Ron & Don Harris) for the USWA Tag Team Title in Memphis, Tennessee, ending the fifth and final reign for the Harris brothers.

2007 - Linda Hogan filed for divorce against former WWF and WCW World champion Hulk Hogan, a process that was dragged out in the media due to the success of their "Hogan Knows Best" reality series.  The public sniping between the two continues to this day, both in media statements and in dueling autobiographies that have been released since the divorce was finalized.
