The show took place despite a magnitude 4.7 earthquake hitting close to Tokyo. Other TNA names on the show included Rob Terry and Jay Bradley as they teamed together.
This was the second of the two promotions TNA were rumored to be teaming with for the current storyline involving AJ Styles (the other being Mexicos Triple A promotion).
