Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas To All Of You From The Members Of The Wrestling Forum And Pro Wrestling Planet!

For those of you "enjoying" the company of relatives you rarely see, check back here later tonight to see what took the number one spot in our Christmas Countdown AND, one hour after that, the official Terrible 25 for 2013 will be revealed!

Here's to you guys, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Linked Posts

I'm experimenting with a new feature for the site - at the bottom of each post you should see some links headlined by "you might also like".

These links are all other pieces on PWP, allegedly linked to the page you're reading. At the moment that doesn't really seem to be the case but we'll give it a few days and see how it shapes up.

Appologies For Lack Of Posting

To those of you that visit us every day I'd like to take the time to apologize about our much decreased posting rate recently.

For those interested, we've had a bit of an electrical problem here at PWP Towers. Specifically rats chewing through electrical cables and forcing us to shut down a large portion of the house.

End Of Year Awards - Now Accepting Nominations

We've just opened up the forum threads to start taking YOUR nominations for our 2013 End Of Year Awards.

There's a multitude of topics to vote on, from "Match of the Year" to the "Best Gimmick" to the "I Can't Believe You Haven't Been Future Endeavored Yet!" award.

If you'd like to have your say and join in the fun head on over to THIS LINK!!!

Christmas Countdown: Greatest Themes Ever!

Back in April, for The Wrestling Forums eighth birthday, we put together our list of the greatest wrestling themes of all time. There were twenty-five of them.

Coincidentally, there are twenty-four days of December before we hit the big one - which makes twenty-five.

So, because we've revamped the site since then, because wrestling theme tunes are awesome and always drum up some chatter AND, just because we CAN, we're doing a Christmas Countdown featuring OUR twenty-five greatest wrestling themes of all time!

Number twenty-five will go up at this time tommorow and from there we're gonna roll all the way to Christmas, so enjoy!

Facebook

We've just added one of those fancy Facebook like thingys down the bottom of the page - for those that don't know, The Wrestling Forum and Pro Wrestling Planet are one and the same, so go and give us a like on there.

We'll be asking our question of the week on there from this point on (as well as the forum) and we'll also be doing other cool stuff too. So, if you're on Facebook go and give this page a like!

2013 will be no different and we have an ongoing nomination thread open on TWF for a number of the awards that we'll be handing out in December.

These awards will be published here, on Pro Wrestling Planet.

We would like you to be involved in deciding the nominees and the eventual winners of these awards.

WWE PPV League: Night Of Champions Round Now Open

Ladies and Gentlemen, the eighth round of the PPV League is now open.

For those that don't know what this is, each time there's a WWE pay-per-view Derek X puts together a number of questions relating to the matches on that show and we have to predict the answers. You score points for each correct prediction and all of the points scored across the year are tallied up to give us our winner at the end of the calender year.

If you'd like to check it out and join in head on over to this thread and post YOUR predictions!
